I foster dogs and I got this pup about 5 months ago. When I was looking in my dog book I saw this breed of dog I knew that it looked like Big Ben. He is great but does not seem to like strangers.

I am too a very proud owner of this breed. Although I did not receive one through your litters. Since the day I have hade him he has impressed me in every way. He is my protecter, worker, and best freind who lives to please me. I receive compliments every day on both how obedient and how impressive he looks. He is 7 months old and is extremly confident already. I maintain a strong pack leadership with him which makes him super attentive and smart. I couldn't picture him not being in the picture becouse he is such a big part of my life. He is everything I could ever want in a dog. I would be willing to send any information, pictures or anything else needed to stud him with a female. I feel that he should be shared with his litters so that others could appreciate this magnificient Breed!

Hi John, I visited your farm many years ago to meet Kucha, Duke and a few others when I was thinking of adding an Azores Cattle dog to my family. I am still in love with this breed to this day all because of your dogs!

John: Wanted to let you know Strider is going to be 8 this year. He's a son of Duke and Kucha. We met up with you and Duke at Molosserstock in 2003 or 2004. He is very healthy and we love him very much. He's a natural herder--golf carts, snowmobiles, deer, bicycles--anything that moves. We look forward to another of your puppies one of these days. I'll try to send photos. Thanks again, Chris

I have had mine for 3 years now and I have to say that it is all that they say it is. A great protector and worker. I am looking for one to breed with my male in the western USA.

My grandfather back in the Acores had one. My cousin had one. Both were working dogs that delt with beef cattle on the island of Pico. Great dogs. Smart. One was an ankle bitter. Glad to see you brought some good blood to these shores. Good luck with your breeding program. I might contact you in a few years for one. Keep up the good work.

I just got this azores cattle dog the other day and she is 6 months old. She is the smartest dog I have ever owned and have only had her for a few days. I look forward to many years with her.

An awesome dog that adapts well to any living situation, intelligent and is very capable. Will become your best friend. Mine would pick for himself a high spot in my yard and watch over my kids while they played.I relied on mine to guard my family while I was away, he did this instinctively. All I can say is "what a great dog!"

I am the proud owner of Naia (born March 18, 2008). She's doing great and is the most loving and loyal dog I've ever owned or seen! And to those who are wondering whether or not this breed is suitable for family or city life, they sure can be. Naia spends a majority of her time guarding me, and playing with her brother Monty. What a great dog and amazing breed!

Michaella is the best dog I've owned great with the kids mine and strangers kids and still protective but very stable I don't worry about her biting someone for no reason or getting into fights I keep her well socialized. She is almost 2 years old and is 23inches and about 75 pounds strong and Beautiful. She doesn't mind the cold to much she will jump in ice water you never told me they could be so good in the water she will retrieve people from the water with no real training doesn't try to climb you she wants to work will swim circles around me and be waiting to pull me in she has towed us many times in tubes. She makes us feel safe at home and on the water Thanks very much for breeding these great dogs Carlos Machado.

I'm very interested in this breed and am looking to import them here to the US sometime this year. Just starting to contact breeders and looking forward to help establish them in this country.
